
一塊餅乾,打造學生英檢口說的穩定輸出流程

老師們是不是也常常在教室裡遇到這些場景?學生腦海裡有想法,開口卻「卡卡」。明明知道答案,開口卻卡半天:「Well…because…ya…」。頭腦跑得比嘴巴快,結果一緊張什麼都出不來。也有學生一邊想一邊講,想到什麼講什麼,理由、例子跳來跳去,變成東一句西一句。不然就是是簡單句講得出來,但內容像在灌白開水:「Because it’s good.」「Because it’s fun.」沒理由、沒例子,聽完只能說還好有講完。
口說考試其實不是在考背誦力,而是臨場整理想法的能力。學生需要的是一條「說話的順序」當作導航。照著順序走,即使緊張,內容還是說得出來。本篇文章以OREO模型作為教學主軸,協助學生建構語言產出邏輯。
OREO 應答架構:讓學生有話可說、有內容好說
O - Opinion:My favorite subject is English.
R - Reason:Because it is important and interesting.
E - Example:For example, I can talk to foreigners when I travel.
O - Opinion restate:That’s why I think English is very useful.
實用課堂活動設計
一、OREO 分層覺察練習
目的:
引導學生認識 OREO 四層結構,學習辨識每個句子在口說回答中的功能。
流程:
- 老師先出示完整範例,學生聽老師唸一遍。
- 接著讓學生閱讀全文,練習標記每一句是 O、R、E 還是 O。
- 完成後進行全班討論,思考是否可以加入更多細節。
“Now, read the sentences again and label O, R, E, O.”
範例:
Question: What is your favorite holiday?
Answer:
- My favorite holiday is Chinese New Year. (O)
- Because I can spend time with my family and enjoy delicious food. (R)
- For example, we have a big family dinner and exchange red envelopes. (E)
- That’s why I love Chinese New Year the most. (O)
目的:
訓練學生在短時間內快速組織想法,完成完整結構的回答。
流程:
- 老師準備題目卡,每組輪流抽題。
- 每位學生有 30 秒準備、30-45 秒完成口說應答。
- 逐步去除提示卡,訓練獨立反應能力。
“You have 30 seconds to think. Then, please give your answer using the OREO structure.”
“Try to speak for 30 to 45 seconds.”
範例:
Question: What is your favorite sport?
Answer:
- My favorite sport is swimming. (O)
- Because it helps me relax and stay healthy. (R)
- For example, I swim at the sports center with my friends every weekend. (E)
- That’s why I like swimming so much. (O)
目的:
培養學生自我評估語流穩定性與內容完整性的能力。
流程:
- 學生錄音回答指定題目。
- 播放錄音,學生自我檢查語流、內容是否完整。
- 搭配簡單自評表進行反思。

範例:
Question: What do you usually do on weekends?
Answer:
- On weekends, I usually go to the park. (O)
- Because I can relax and exercise. (R)
- For example, I ride my bike and walk my dog there every Saturday. (E)
- That’s why I enjoy my weekends. (O)
目的:
訓練學生在理由和舉例層次中加入更豐富細節,提升答案厚度。
流程:
- 老師先示範如何透過 5 個問題把答案撐厚。
- 學生兩人一組,一人負責主回答,一人負責依照五問法追問,完成延展內容練習。
“Then, your partner will ask you five questions to help you add details.”
“Answer each question and build a longer answer.”
範例:
Question: Talk about your favorite restaurant.
Expanded Answer:
- My favorite restaurant is a Japanese sushi place because I love seafood.
- I usually go there with my family about twice a month.
- The last time we went was last Sunday.
- It’s very close to my house, only a 10-minute walk.
- The sushi is always fresh and delicious. That’s why I enjoy eating there.

當學生熟練 OREO 這樣的流程,遇到各種口說主題時,腦中會自然浮出完整的回應架構,說話更有條理、更有自信。整個過程像吃一塊 OREO 餅乾:有層次、有節奏、有組織。到了真正考試時,他們會發現:
